West Beach is one of Bournemouth’s best-loved seafront restaurants, set right on the promenade beside the pier with tables that look out across Poole Bay. The food
The menu leans on seafood, with a daily-changing catch, shellfish and lighter seasonal plates, alongside a few options for meat-eaters and children. Expect to pay around £18–£32 for a main. There’s a proper drinks list too, from crisp whites to local ales.
Where it is
You’ll find West Beach at the very centre of the seafront, a two-minute stroll from Bournemouth Pier and directly on the sand of Bournemouth Beach. The dining room and the outdoor terrace both make the most of the view.
Good to know
Tables are in high demand in summer, so book ahead particularly if you want to eat outside. It’s an easy, family-friendly stop before or after a walk along the prom.
